Theresa’s Spring Cleaning Tips

The weather is warming up, flowers are blooming, trees are sprouting leaves, and many of us are in the Spring Cleaning mood! We often stop to ask ourselves- where do we even begin?! I like to approach Spring Cleaning each year the same way I tackle many large, seemingly overwhelming tasks… one day at a time… one drawer at a time… one closet at a time… one item at a time..

I was given a list a few years ago to start from and have modified it for our family.  Here are my suggestions of 30 areas of your home that you can choose to clean, sort and de-clutter one at a time, one day at a time for the month of April.  Or every other day during the months of April and May! You may have other rooms or areas you would like to add, some items that need to be broken down into smaller pieces, and some items on this list that don’t apply to you.  Feel free to edit, print and post this list so you can cross things off as you complete them! Encourage family members to help too, and before you know it, you’ll feel a big sense of accomplishment and have less clutter in your home.  I am challenging my family to complete this list this Spring, and we’ll post updates on Social Media. We’d love to hear your success stories, too!
